Manuel D. Machin, Esq
Manuel “Manny” Machin is a Principal of The Machin Law Firm, LLC. Manny is a strong advocate for all of his clients. Manny has represented his clients in civil litigation, debt settlements, family law matters, and business matters. Manny also has provided many estate plans to his clients highlighting their wishes during life and after death, protecting many families from the costs and length of probate court.
Manny graduated cum laude from the University of D.C. David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC-DACSL). While at UDC-DACSL, Manny served as the Membership Chair for the Federalist Society. Manny was the recipient of the Dean’s Fellow award and scholarship at UDC-DACSL. Manny represented whistleblowers in employment issues while in law school as a part of the Government Accountability Clinic. He also represented low-income or indigent taxpayers in disputes with the IRS and negotiated offers-in-compromise as a part of his experience with the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at UDC-DACSL.
While attending law school, Manny interned for the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) as a pro bono appointed advocate, and the Montgomery County Office of the State’s Attorney. Manny worked as a Law Clerk with a general legal practice prior to starting his own firm with his wife.
