Rada A. Machin (formerly Rada A. Puri) is a Principal of The Machin Law Firm, LLC. Rada is a zealous advocate for her clients. Rada has successfully negotiated and settled large lawsuits brought against her clients, represented both mothers and fathers in contentious divorce and custody battles, and has served as a Court Appointed Attorney for the State of Maryland in the Montgomery County Detention Center, Central Processing Unit, representing arrested individuals for initial appearances. 


Rada graduated cum laude from the University of D.C. David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC-DACSL). While at UDC-DACSL, Rada served as the Clerk for the legal fraternity Phi Alpha Delta and the Secretary for the Federalist Society. Rada was the recipient of the Dean’s Fellow award and scholarship and the Rosa Parks Merit Scholarship at UDC-DACSL. Rada provided pro bono legal service through rewarding clinical experiences while in law school. Rada assisted public and private whistleblowers for major corporations and the government in their claims through her work with the Government Accountability Project Clinic at UDC-DACSL. She also aided low-income taxpayers through IRS audits, tax deficiencies, and petitions to the US Tax Court, through her experience with the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at UDC-DACSL.

While attending law school, Rada interned for the D.C. Office of the Attorney General, TimeBanks USA, and the Montgomery County Office of the State’s Attorney. Rada worked as a Law Clerk for a prestigious white-collar criminal defense firm - KaiserDillon, PLLC. She also clerked for a Bankruptcy law firm while in law school and another general legal practice prior to starting her own firm with her husband.
